Ben Silverman focuses on complex civil litigation, including RICO, consumer class actions, plaintiff-side employment litigation, civil rights, and commercial disputes.
Ben received his law degree in 2010 from New York University School of Law, where he was a Robert McKay Scholar. He clerked for the Honorable Alison J. Nathan in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Prior to joining Kakalec & Schlanger, Ben worked at Spears & Imes LLP, a litigation boutique focusing on white collar defense and complex civil litigation. Ben was also previously a Debevoise Fellow at the Federal Defenders of New York. He received his undergraduate degree in History and East Asian Studies from Sarah Lawrence College. Ben is proficient in spoken and written Mandarin.
